I really enjoyed Box Office Poison- although you have to remember as a Much Older Person I was reading it as it came out and was pretty disappointed he didn't fix things with the collection ( you can't call them typos when you hand letter them PLUS wtf was that serial killer sub plot about?) The bitching about customer complaints is pretty universal-- Ed Brisson riffed something very close to rip off territory one time but I cut him some slack because it is a question we deal with EVERY SHIFT.
S is ALWAYS for Stephen but in this case it's really about Store-Bot-- Store Bought).
I've drawn on my tablet almost exclusively for the last six months. It works out to very close to 2 1/2 x up. Meaning if you see a panel 100x100 pixels I'm probably drawing it 200 (maybe 250) pixels. I tend to draw small for expediency although bigger is better for all sorts of reasons.
As always I try to keep my posted images under 100k-- they're normally 50-75 k. It's also a good idea to keep them between 500x750 pixels as that's what comfortably fits inside most peoples' monitors. I'm all about pushing envelopes and all, but there is absolutely no reason anyone should have to scroll to see one image.
